Pom Pom Magazine Issue #41 - 10th Anniversary Issue
Pom Pom is turning 10 and you’re invited to the yarn party! Issue 41 marks PomPom's 10th birthday and we have a host of jubilant and celebratory designs which radiate all the joy we feel on this landmark occasion!
This rare bumper edition of Pom Pom Quarterly contains 13 designs for warm and cool climes, so no matter where you live in the world, there’s handmade party outfits aplenty within its pages.
Undoubtedly the most collectable edition yet! Not only is this unique issue split into warm and cool patterns, we’ve gone all out with a flip double cover. This is also the first issue printed in Pom Pom's new larger format!
Featuring designs by: ISA CATEPILLÀN // SARI NORDLUND // MARIE RÉGNIER // INYOUNG KIM // GINA FAMA RÖCKENWAGNER // DAWN HENDERSON // AMAlLIA SIEBER // XANDY PETERS // SYLVIA WATTS-CHERRY // KIYOMI BURGIN // SACHIKO BURGIN // JAMES N WATTS // AINUR BERKIMBAYEVA
What’s more, Issue 41 comes complete with party favours in the form of two articles and a recipe! Atsushi Futatsuya writes about cultural appropriation and the practice of Sashiko, and Atia Azmi’s ‘A Crafter’s Guide to London’ is a wonderful tribute to the vibrant city in which Pom Pom was founded. Dee Omole shares her recipe for the most stunning white chocolate madeleines we’ve ever seen – we’re sure these would make a statement centrepiece at any shindig. So grab your knitting needles and crochet hooks and celebrate with us!
With this celebratory issue, there are two important changes are coming soon: the magazine is getting bigger and the cover price is changing.
From Issue 41, Pom Pom Quarterly will be printed in a larger format to better show off each issue’s patterns and photography, and to better help you choose which project to cast on first. With larger pages comes an improved layout, which will make our pattern instructions easier to read. The page count of Pom Pom Magazine is also increasing to bring you more of the articles and tutorials.
