Thistle - Suri Cloud

Suri Cloud is a super soft base of brushed Baby Suri Alpaca spun with Mulberry silk to create a gorgeous fluffy yarn.  Brushed Alpaca makes the perfect alternative to using Mohair for those with sensitive skin and has a fantastic fluffy halo. 

Suri is a rare Alpaca breed with a uniquely smooth and silky fleece without the usual natural crimp. Fleece taken from the Alpacas' first sheering, also known as Baby, creates this extraordinarily soft and luxurious brushed yarn.

It can be knitted in a variety of tensions to create different fabric effects; use it with a loose gauge for airy lace, or on smaller needles for a lightweight yet incredibly snuggly, warm fabric. Personally I love it held together with another yarn to add a soft halo. 

Combine it with a skein of Merino Sock and knit up the perfect cosy hat or socks this Christmas. 

Hand dyed using professional acid dyes, each skein of yarn produced by Woollen Wytch is unique. 

Caring for your Hand dyed Yarn

Gentle hand wash, air dry flat.

Some bleeding may occur with saturated colours. Although every effort has been taken to ensure colourfast yarn, you may experience a small amount of colour bleeding on the first couple of washes.  This is normal for hand dyed yarn.
