It has a slightly more rustic feel than finer wools, making it ideal for creating durable yarns with excellent stitch definition and wonderful texture. Whether you’re spinning for knitting or weaving, needle felting, wet felting, or experimenting with fibre blending, Jacob is a joy to explore.

Each braid is hand dyed in small batches in my Somerset studio, creating rich, layered colourways full of depth and movement.
